Dane asked for his first camera as a present when he was 9 years old. As a kid, you would always find him with a camera in hand, filming his friends in skate park or tagging along with his parents to weddings. Fun fact: both his grandparents and parents were photographers - he is a third generation professional photographer!
Dane's hard work ethic and the ability to use every environment to his advantage are just a few attributes he brings to every project. Whether he is working on a small or major production, Dane’s enthusiasm, creativity and love for his craft can be seen every time he steps behind the lens.
He started Greenz Productions in 2012 and later rebranded to what we are today.
When he’s not behind a camera, Dane enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking, skateboarding, snowboarding, and soaking up the outdoors.
EMILY IWATA
Marketing Consultant, Second Shooter
Emily has worked in marketing for almost a decade - from study abroad to global events to real estate - she brings a breadth of knowledge and considers herself a ‘jill of all trades’ when it comes to marketing, communications, and event planning.
Emily joined Iwata Productions in 2020 when she laid off due to COVID-19. At first, she started helping out with editing, client communications, social media, invoices, and web updates. Later, she finally got behind the camera and started honing her video skills.
Emily brings her love for wedding planning and eye for those little moments that have a huge impact in film. She firmly believes that no detail is too small. She also thrives when conducting interviews for testimonial videos and capturing detail shots at weddings.
When she’s not working, you can find her flying through fiction novels, gravel biking, throwing pottery on the wheel, and adventuring in the mountains.
